Cursillo is a wonderful weekend for spiritual growth held at Mariandale conference center at the north end of Ossining twice a year.
The next one will be held the evening of October 22- October 25. Our own Intern, Jorge Caraballo will be leading the weekend and one of the spiritual directors will be our dear rector, Bill Baker. This weekend normally cost over $400 but past attendees graciously fund the weekend for those who attend. What do you do during Cursillo? You learn more about faith and how people’s lives were changed, you discuss what you hear in small groups, you sing, worship and even encounter a bit of silence. Applications are now available and can be found in the back of the church.

Susan Fund Scholarships 2026
Think Big! Students Can Apply for Susan Fund Scholarships
Applications for this year’s Susan Fund scholarships are now available for students in grades 6-11 who live in Westchester County, want to grow their dreams this summer, and need financial support. A student finds the course or program that meets their academic or creative interests, and the Susan Fund provides a scholarship of up to $1,000 to help cover the cost.
Children and grandchildren in the Christ Church San Marcos family are encouraged to apply, and all parishioners are asked to let their families and friends know about this opportunity. The application has more information and includes a listing of program ideas for students.

Christ Church San Marcos is looking for young people who would like to learn to serve as Acolytes during the Children’s Services (4th Sunday of the month). Being an Acolyte is a wonderful way to participate in the service, and to help others at the same time. Please speak to Chris Atkinson or Fr. Bill if you would like more information about joining The Acolyte Guild.
